Halloween! Fall Festivities!

I hope you are all excited for the various homecoming activities this weekend! But lets not forget about the upcoming Halloween festivities the following week (Oct 26-30th)! With midterms completed and a projected week of temperate/warm weather students will have great last second opportunities to enjoy the Halloween season! Student organizations and Community Halls have pursued fun and charitable initiatives to correspond with the season.

I would like to Highlight three events in particular.

Musician Patrick Woods performing at Clawson Hall Lobby, Tuesday October 27, 5-7 PM
His performance will launch the selling of Ernst Fest Shirts. So hit up Alexander Dining Hall for dinner, and enjoy some relaxing acoustic music as you dine.

Thomson Hall Haunted Trail! Wednesday October 28, 8 PM---
Thompson Halls 3rd Annual Haunted Trail is not for the faint of heart, I was able to trek last years trail, it was very well done. It also supports the Oxford Food Pantry!

Ernst Fall Festival! Where the Western Things Are- Thursday October 28, 5-Midnight.
Many activities have been lined up, there is still time for your organization to get involved. Current Activities at the event:
Live Music-Western Program
Video Gaming- Western Program (co-sponsor available).
Campfire- Oxford Fire Department
Pumpkin Carving- Science Inquiry Center
Pumpkin Painting- Peabody Hall
Ultimate frisbee- Peabody Hall
Baked Goods/Cider- McKee Hall

I hope you find the time to support your local charities and enjoy yourselves doing it!
